Writing Styles

I like the Inverted Pyramid better than Wall Street Journal. The reason I like the inverted pyramid is because the readers get the information quick because it’s at the beginning of the story. Even though not the whole story is in the first paragraph, the readers can keep reading if they’re not satisfied with the information they’ve gotten so far. I think the Inverted Pyramid is easier to write for the writer. It is also easier to start the story off. I would choose the Inverted Pyramid over the Wall Street Journal.

West Virginia Board vs. Barnette

On the case West Virginia Board vs. Barnette, Barnette didn’t say the pledge of allegiance and the school got mad and took this case to court. Barnette won because of his freedom of speech. I think this case went the right way. People should have their freedom of speech and if they don’t want to say the pledge of allegiance, they shouldn’t have to. Not everyone believes in the same things and shouldn’t have to just because other people do. I also think that when we have foreign exchange students, they shouldn’t have to say the pledge of allegiance.

Why are blogs a good way to get information?

Blogs are a good way to get information because it can be faster at getting the information you want or need, rather than watching the television or receiving the newspaper. People can get on the internet anytime time they want and look up the information they want but some people don’t always have time to watch the news or read the newpaper.

Another reason blogs are a good way to get information is because people can share their opinions or thoughts about different ideas. It doesn’t always have to be factual information. You could write a blog on a certain thing just about your opinion on it and people can comment on it and write their own opinions.

Blogs are definitely a good, fast way to get information or just share your thoughts.
